“Death’s Obession” by Avina St. Graves is about the Grim Reaper named Letum and his obsession with the FMC Lilith. After she gets into a car accident that takes her sisters life and puts her in the hospital, Letum decides to make himself a part of Lilth’s world. However, everyone blames what she is experiencing on her trauma, but she can’t stop this nagging feeling that Death is stalking her. Lilth’s boyfriend is rude and undeserving of Lilth and Letum clearly see this. He leaves notes, gifts, etc. all for his precious flower. Then, one day, he decides to approach her in her dreams and it all gets chaotic and spicy from there.
Let me just start with how much I enjoyed this short story. No like seriously…. I really loved this!!! It had me yelling “WHEN IS IT MY TURN!”. There’s not just spicy scenes with Letum, but also his Grim Reaper Shadow. The smut is smutting and there were moments my toes were actually curling.
For 170 pages this was very well written. It was impressive to have such character development and a cohesive plot that most smutty short stories lack. Please make sure if you read this that you check the trigger warnings beforehand as some of the content may be triggering for some readers.
